ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

The Costing Analyst (6-month contract), primarily based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will be part of the Costing Management function within the Product Supply Enablement organization at VF Corporation. Located in Kuala Lumpur, the Costing Analyst for [TBD – APP, FTW/E] is responsible for costing operations supporting hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of product cost across VF’s portfolio of brands and products. This professional will support the modernization and standardization of costing approaches using data-driven, automated, and efficient processes in partnership with VF product sourcing teams and vendors in the manufacturing country. The individual will leverage “One VF” scale through harmonized, scalable, fact-based costing methodologies. The role focuses on operational costing optimization and requires close collaboration with other functions in the Product Supply Organization to ensure process adherence.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Operations: Manage seasonal costing calendar, activities (cost validation, system updates, maintenance), support vendor negotiations, and manage buy price updates for POs.

  • Manage multiple business models/styles with different factories and costing submissions simultaneously within short lead times.

  • Profitability: Provide insights to Sourcing and Costing stakeholders to identify profit opportunities and support cost negotiations.

  • Connectivity: Deliver information to Product Sourcing, Brand, Vendors, Planning, Material Supply, Logistics, and Engineering to enable a unified VF Global Costing Strategy.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate across teams and vendors, proactively suggest process improvements.

  • Reporting: Assist with reporting needs such as Costing Data Warehouse updates, Margin reviews, PIR, and other tasks.

  • Process Improvements: Contribute to enhancing productivity and efficiency by eliminating redundancies, automating tasks, and optimizing processes.

  • Standardization: Ensure process adherence within your scope to leverage the “one-VF” operating procedures.

  • Minimal travel required.
