Job Purpose
The Cost Controller is responsible for managing and reporting all costs and revenues of the projects assigned to him/her.

Main Accountabilities
During contract execution
- Establish the initial project budget/forecast based on the handover bid from the Sales Department.
- Update the forecast with changes based on inputs from project management and other team members.
- Prepare monthly Project Cost Reports and Project Management Reports.
- Prepare monthly invoices to the client and follow up on reimbursable items.
- Evaluate the economic impact of scope changes/variations.
- Perform economic analysis, forecasts, deviation reports, etc.
- Update cash flow forecasts.
- Support the identification of threats and opportunities, along with mitigation plans.
- Increase awareness of the Cost Control function across departments.
- Review commitments regularly.
• Assist procurement with invoices from subcontractors/suppliers.
• Develop reporting requirements for the cost control function, including:
- Manpower forecasting
- Vessel/Construction/Manufacturing/Procurement forecasting
- Budget transfer and variation order register
- Budget variance analysis
- Cost sensitivities analysis
- Cash flow management
- Reporting requirements

You are meant for this job if you have:
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- At least 8 years of experience in Cost Control, depending on project size and complexity.
- Experience working with large companies and ERP systems.
