A leading company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Financial Assistant to support budgeting, internal controls, and compliance. The role involves data collection, reporting, and collaboration across departments. Candidates with a Diploma or Bachelor’s in finance-related fields and at least 2-3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.

Assist in collecting and analyzing cost data from various projects or operations.
Provide support in preparing and monitoring budgets.
Help conduct variance analysis and prepare reports comparing actual costs with budgets or forecasts.
Internal Control Assistance
Support the implementation and monitoring of internal control policies and procedures.
Assist in conducting periodic checks and audits to evaluate control mechanisms.
Help identify areas of improvement and recommend enhancements to existing processes.
Compliance and Documentation
Ensure accurate and organized documentation of financial transactions and processes.
Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration and Communication
Provide support to departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and financial processes.
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and recommendations for management review.
Facilitate training and guidance for staff on basic financial and internal control procedures.
Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Able to work with different levels and departments.
At least 2-3 years of experience in costing, budgeting, or internal control roles.
