Job Description
  • Manage cost accounting processes, with familiarity in absorption costing considered an advantage.

  • Oversee inventory control and ensure accurate reporting.

  • Handle taxation matters including deferred tax, withholding tax, corporate tax, and SST, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

  • Perform hands-on tasks such as data entry into accounting systems and preparation of financial reports.

  • Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, and statutory authorities for documentation and compliance.

  • Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing, ensuring timely and accurate completion of reports.

  • Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Fixed Assets.

  • Prepare and submit GST and corporate tax documentation, and maintain regular updates from relevant authorities.

  • Collaborate with regional offices and corporate secretaries, and support ad-hoc reporting needs.

Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Banking, Business Management, Economics, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.

  • Strong personal integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

  • Resilient under pressure, able to handle ambiguity and solve complex issues.

  • Capable of multitasking and meeting tight deadlines in a high-growth environment.

  • Willing to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor, and possess own transport.
