Job Summary

As a Cost Accountant at Quantum, you will be responsible for reviewing and reporting on various activities related to production and service/repair operations, including cost maintenance, variance analysis, financial close and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Month-end close review and journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly inventory reports and trend analysis
  • Product costing and maintenance
  • Develop reporting to analyze inventory transactions and variance analysis
  • Identify issues and work with operations to implement solutions
  • Support internal and external audit requirements
  • SOX compliance and testing
  • Reserve analysis and calculation
  • Working Hours: 8.00AM to 5.00PM (Malaysian Hours) with flexibility to occasionally work off hours to attend project meetings with US counterparts.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • ERP systems and report-writing experience, D365 experience a plus
  • Strong skills in MS Excel
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Able to adapt to rapidly changing business models
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills
  • Ability to take on projects with minimal guidance
