Job description

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  1. Collaborate with site leadership and local HR teams to build communication plans for organizational priorities and employee engagement. Create compelling and clear content for internal communication channels, including executive updates and organizational announcements.
  2. Employee Engagement & Change Management Campaigns: Partner with site leadership and the Culture & Connections team to lead campaigns and initiatives that keep employees informed, motivated, connected, and adaptable to ongoing change. This includes town halls, employee spotlights, and manager-specific communication initiatives. Ensure corporate-level updates are broadly applicable and understood by team members at the site.
  3. Event Management: Coordinate and execute internal events, such as leadership meetings, employee recognition events, and site-wide town halls, in partnership with the Culture & Connections team.
  4. Serve as Public Relations Lead: Act as the point of contact for site-specific communication needs, aligning with corporate strategy and local engagement priorities. Responsibilities include:
    • Developing relationships with local media and relevant stakeholders to promote organizational reputation.
    • Managing media inquiries, press releases, and crisis communications related to site-specific matters.
    • Supporting public relations efforts, such as coordinating interviews and media visits.
  5. Create content for external channels, including press releases, fact sheets, and social media content reflecting site activities and achievements.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer, skilled project manager, and proactive communicator capable of managing site communications and public relations activities simultaneously. This role involves guiding local leadership on critical communication issues, driving employee engagement and understanding, and collaborating within a global corporate and site communications team.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • A passion for working both globally and locally.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
  • Experience collaborating with HR, Legal, Operations, Manufacturing, and other teams to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Ability to track and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and make data-driven improvements.
