Job Responsibilities
1. Risk Management Framework Development and Implementation
- Develop and implement the organization’s risk management framework in alignment with Bursa Malaysia’s regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain risk management policies and procedures across the organization.
- Ensure integration of risk management practices into strategic planning and operational processes.
2. Risk Assessment and Mitigation
- Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks to the organization.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor their implementation.
- Facilitate periodic risk reviews to ensure timely identification and management of emerging risks.
3. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia’s risk management and corporate governance requirements.
- Prepare and submit risk-related reports to the Board of Directors, Risk Management Committee, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and update the organization’s policies and practices accordingly.
4. Reporting and Communication
- Prepare comprehensive risk management reports and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to the Risk Management Committee and Board of Directors on the organization’s risk exposure and mitigation activities.
- Act as the primary liaison for risk management matters with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Foster a risk-aware culture by conducting training and awareness programs for employees at all levels.
- Collaborate with departmental heads to ensure consistent application of risk management practices.
- Provide guidance and support to operational teams in identifying and mitigating risks.
6. Performance Monitoring and ContinuousImprovement
- Monitor the effectiveness of risk management strategies and recommend improvements.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing risk management processes using industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Benchmark the organization’s risk management practices against industry standards.
Job Requirements
1) Experience
- Min 5 years in risk management, preferably in the service, solution, training and education provider industries.
2) Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market or ACE Market Listing Requirements and corporate governance standards.
3) Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
