Job description

This Corporate Finance Governance Manager role requires an individual with substantial knowledge in accounting standards to oversee financial procedures within the accounting and finance department.

Description
  • Collaborate extensively with the financial reporting team and other specialists to guarantee accurate accounting for complex project ventures.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the business, leading technical accounting research and the adoption of new accounting standards.
  • Proactively monitor new projects, business opportunities, and evolving accounting regulations.
  • Prepare detailed memos and communicate with senior management and external auditors on intricate accounting matters.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on current and emerging accounting guidance for our global team.
  • Oversee transaction accounting service providers and their associated processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide early guidance on new deals and support thorough contract reviews to ensure IFRS compliance.
Profile
  • A degree in Accounting or Finance, with professional qualifications (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, etc.)
  • Must possess external audit expertise, trained in big 4 firms.
  • Knowledge of local and international accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication, analysis, and leadership skills.
