A leading company in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Corporate Finance Executive to support corporate exercises like due diligence and mergers & acquisitions. Qualifications

Job description

Provide support for the execution of corporate exercises, including due diligence, M&A, etc.

Good knowledge in budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow analysis, financial analysis, reporting to stakeholders, etc.

Support the financial planning and analysis functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Analyze and interpret financial data to support business decisions.

Liaise with bankers, stakeholders, etc., for financing facilities.

Manage and maintain positive relationships with the investment community, shareholders, fund managers, analysts, and other stakeholders.

Assist in the preparation of the annual report and AGM materials.

Continuously monitor and review covenants across debt facilities, negotiating amendments and waivers with lenders when necessary.

Manage ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Familiarity with listing requirements (Bursa Malaysia) and accounting standards is an advantage.
• Experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Accounting is an advantage.
• Meticulous with an eye for details.
• In-depth knowledge of Financial Statements rules & regulations, guidelines of relevant regulatory authorities, risk management, listing rules, and annual report preparation is an advantage.
• Ability to structure deliverables and board papers for Board approval is an advantage.
• Self-motivated team player, meticulous, organized, quick learner, independent, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
