Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Malaysia is looking for a Corporate Finance Associate to assist in diverse financial projects, including IPOs and M&A. Job description

Assist in corporate finance projects including IPOs, financial advisory on mergers and acquisitions, listing rules, and reverse takeovers in the U.S. Capital Market.

Handle corporate structuring.

Assist in preparing pitch books and mandates for potential clients.

Draft information memoranda, prospectuses, and circulars to shareholders.

Ensure work is executed expeditiously and within deadlines.

Be proficient with all relevant guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Conduct proper due diligence prior to submission to regulatory authorities.

Maintain and enhance close business rapport with clients and associates for continuous support.

Liaise with regulators, registrars, attorneys, and auditors for processing transaction submissions.

Assist in preparing submissions to regulatory authorities.

Conduct industry and company research.

Assist in financial analysis and valuation work.

Develop and prepare client presentation materials and reports.

Interface with clients and stakeholders.

Perform any other tasks assigned by superiors or management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent.

Required Languages: English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese is preferred for effective communication with clients.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Good interpersonal skills and adaptability.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Strong writing, communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, research, and drafting skills.
