Job Summary: An industry-leading company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager for Corporate Finance & Strategy. This role is essential in steering the organisation toward its strategic and long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will excel in strategic planning and management, data analysis, financial modelling, stakeholder engagement, financial oversight, and performance measurement. The successful candidate will provide valuable insights and visibility to enable effective decision-making, optimise resource allocation, manage financial risks, and enhance overall performance across various business segments.

Your new role

• Strategic Financial Modelling and Planning:
  • Convert operational financial forecasts into strategic investment plans.
  • Craft and sustain detailed financial models to guide decision-making.
  • Conduct scenario analyses to predict the impact of different strategic initiatives.
• Investment Management:
  • Spot and evaluate investment opportunities that align with business objectives.
  • Advise on resource allocation to maximise returns on investments.
  • Manage and assess the performance of existing investments.
• Capital and Fund Optimisation:
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve an optimal blend of debt, equity, and internal funding.
  • Plan and execute financing solutions, including equity offerings, debt issuances, and refinancing.
  • Oversee the company's liquidity and financial risk management.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, finance teams, and business units to align financial strategies with corporate goals.
  • Convey financial insights, strategies, and results to stakeholders, including executive teams and board members.
• Risk Management and Compliance:
  • Analyse financial and operational risks associated with capital investments and financing strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.
• Implementation and Execution:
  • Supervise the execution of approved financial strategies and solutions.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or CFA or equivalent would be a HUGE PLUS.
• Above 8 years in corporate finance, strategic financial management, or investment roles.
• Good track record in communication and presentation.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, investment strategies, and risk management.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
