The Corporate Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial planning, forecasting, and investment analysis functions of the organization. This role plays a critical part in evaluating financial performance, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring sound financial decision-making aligned with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial models.
Analyze actual performance against budget and forecast, providing insights and variance explanations.
Support management with financial reports and dashboards for strategic decision-making.
Investment and Business Analysis:
Conduct financial due diligence and valuation analysis for potential investments, partnerships, or capital projects.
Prepare detailed financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to evaluate return on investment (ROI) and risk.
Cash Flow and Capital Management:
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial health.
Assist in managing debt covenants, capital allocation, and funding requirements.
Reporting and Compliance:
Prepare and present periodic financial reports for senior management, board members, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and accounting standards.
Strategic Support:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives, cost-saving programs, and efficiency improvements.
•Provide analytical support during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, if applicable.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA or CPA certification is an advantage.
2–5 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or financial analysis.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
