Job summary

A leading company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Financial Analyst to handle the preparation of financial consolidation statements, ensure compliance with international standards, and manage relationships with external parties. Job description

Prepare monthly and quarterly group consolidation financial statements with analysis and ensure timely submission.

Liaise closely with relevant Business Units in the inter-company balances reconciliation and verification of data.

Prepare investment fund and cash flow planning.

Compile necessary financial data for quarterly reporting and announcement to Bursa Malaysia and ensure compliance with Bursa Listing Requirements.

Ensure financial reports are compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards and local Reporting Standards.

Liaise with external auditors for interim and year-end financial audits, audit queries, and notes to financial statements.

Liaise with tax agents on corporate tax and related matters.

Liaise with bankers to handle corporate banking & treasury matters.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior, commensurate with the position's responsibilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.

At least 3 years of experience in corporate finance; audit experience is an advantage.

Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.

Attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, and analytical skills.

Good communication skills in both written and verbal English & Chinese.

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles, especially consolidation of accounts.
