Job summary

A leading company in the education sector is seeking a Personal Driver to support the Chairman/MD. The ideal candidate should have excellent driving skills, a valid license, and the ability to maintain the vehicle. Responsibilities include ensuring safe transport, route planning, and vehicle upkeep. Candidates must be punctual, trustworthy, and disciplined, with a minimum of one-year experience as a driver.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid car driving license.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a personal driver.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Chairman / MD safely and on time.
• Plan routes to avoid delays using GPS.
• Perform routine checks and maintain the vehicle.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the Chairman / MD to destinations safely and on time.
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and the best driving practices.
• Drive smoothly to ensure Chairman / MD comfort.
• Plan routes using GPS and traffic updates to avoid delays.
• Regularly clean the vehicle (both interior and exterior).
• Remain alert and avoid distractions during driving.
• Perform routine maintenance checks (fuel, oil, tire pressure, brakes, etc.).
• Schedule servicing and repairs when necessary.
• Ensure the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
• Be available as per the employer’s schedule.
• Remain courteous and respectful when dealing with Chairman / MD.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• At least SPM qualification & above
• Posses valid car driving license with excellent driving skills.
• Proficient in using GPS devices (WAZE and Google Map application)
• At least 1 years of working experience as personal driver
• Honest, trustworthy, patient, responsive, no smooking, hardworking, and highly disciplined.
• Must be punctual in attendance
• Ability to work overtime and on weekends, as required
• No previous disciplinary records, criminal records, or traffic offenses.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance, including checking tire pressure, oil levels, and minor troubleshooting.
