Job summary

bp is seeking a Core Finance Lead to deliver accurate management information, valuations and performance analysis across a multi-location portfolio. You will oversee valuation reviews, support new commercial activity from assessment to delivery, and drive structured improvements in data, processes and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, economics, business, engineering, data or related field.
• Experience in commodity trading finance, valuation control, management information, commercial or new activity delivery.
• Experience leading complex work across functions or locations.
• Relevant finance, accounting, project management, data or change qualifications are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead production, validation and explanation of management information and performance analysis.
• Oversee independent valuation review for the portfolio and ensure valuations align with data requirements.
• Lead Core Finance support for new commercial activity from assessment through implementation.
• Drive cross-functional improvement, project delivery, process redesign and automation where possible.
• Set priorities across teams/locations, coach colleagues and establish clear accountability and procedures.
• Collaborate with Finance, commercial, technology and service-delivery partners to resolve data, valuation and process issues.
