About The Role

As a Copywriter at Alta, you'll play a direct role in democratizing access to alternative investments -from unicorns like SpaceX-style opportunities (available to Alta investors from as little as $25,000, versus the million-dollar minimums and decade-long lock-ups typical of VC access) to climate tech, rare metals, and real-world assets like classic cars. Your core responsibility will be translating complex financial jargon into clear, compelling language that everyday investors can actually understand - not just marketing products, but educating investors on what makes an opportunity worth their attention. From storytelling to breaking down concepts like tokenization, to crafting campaigns that drive action, your writing will be central to making private markets more transparent, accessible, and liquid for all.

Some Of The Key Responsibilities Include

• 1. Campaign Research, Strategy, and Sequencing
• Research and Preparation (investor psychology, products, concepts, competition)
  
  • Preparing the right building blocks before writing a word of copy
  • Breaking down complex financial concepts (tokenization, private credit, RWAs, fee structures) into clear explanations
• Customer Journey Design and Content strategy and sequencing
  
  • Collaborating on mapping out customer journeys to shape their experience at every step of the way
  • Collaborating on planning out the exact content pieces that allow an investor to flow through that customer journey
  • Collaborating on crafting content pieces (from ads to landers, email sequences, decks, and product pages, and more)

• 2. Tasteful Cross-Channel Copy that both Nurtures and Converts
• Ads and Organic Content
  
  • Crafting ad headlines, body copy, and video scripts across platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, Google/YouTube, and TikTok
  • Crafting social posts for platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram
• Landing pages
  
  • Writing articles, advertorials, campaign, and product pages
• Email sequences and newsletters
  
  • Writing launch campaign sequences for our latest offerings and events
  • Writing nurture and re-engagement sequences that introduce newcomers to Alta and educate them about our world and products
  • Crafting newsletters that keep investors in the loop and integrating that with our offerings
• Investment decks and documents
  
  • Educational documents that deep dive into the nitty gritty details of investment products
  • Decks for webinars or in-person sharing sessions

• 3. Messaging development and testing workflows
• Hybrid human/AI copywriting workflows
  
  • Developing campaign direction, framing, and messaging, without requiring AI
  • Using AI workflows to as a force-multiplier for your taste and direction, so solid copywriting can be created and iterated to amplify the words you craft by hand
  • Reviewing and editing of copywriting (be it from humans or AI)
• AB and MV (Multi-variate) messaging testing
  
  • Learning and implementing unique testing approaches to continually “tune” our brand voice and messaging for greatest resonance and conversions
  • Maintain consistency across our campaigns and channels, based on our learnings

About You:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience copywriting in performance/growth marketing, with experience in paid acquisition (ads and offers), funnel optimization (CRO), and email campaigns
• Experience in writing (not copywriting, and not for conversions) for personal expression or education (this could be a personal blog, substack, or anything not related to marketing)
• Tasteful copy that converts (direct response guru vibes are not welcome here), with insights and perspectives that genuinely re-frame problems and re-shape beliefs
• Ability to write in different styles and formats: long-form, short-form, storytelling, social, professional, educational (side note: you don’t have to be a finance expert, just be willing to learn)
• AI fluency, where you’re familiar with (but don’t depend on) using AI tools daily to write faster and test more, without the common AI slop
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and experiment. You can digest complex topics (private capital markets, investment products) and make them clear. And you’re excited to grow as a copywriter, and willing to pick up and try approaches that might be new to you
