Job summary

Aonic is seeking an UAS Remote Pilot in Malaysia to conduct drone operations in compliance with regulations and internal standards. You will perform visual airspace scans, maintain safe flight paths, and report any abnormalities to the team lead.

Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required, with a passion for unmanned aircraft in agriculture. Responsibilities include submitting flight logs, daily reports, and ensuring safety throughout all flight phases, in line with ISO and CAD

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/SPVM with Bahasa Malaysia and English communication.
• Higher qualification is an added advantage.
• Passionate about unmanned aircraft technology in agriculture.

Responsibilities

• Conduct UAS work in compliance with authority regulations and standards.
• Perform unaided visual scanning of the airspace for hazards.
• Ensure flight path and area are clear of obstacles during the mission.
• Adhere to the organization’s Operations Manual and standards.
• Operate UAS safely through all flight phases.
• Report abnormalities to Team Lead or FOM for corrective actions to prevent safety risks.
• Submit all flight logs and daily work reports.
• Comply with ISO 9001 and CAD 6011 (II) Agricultural UAS Operations requirements.

About The Role

The UAS Remote Pilot is responsible for conducting UAS operations in compliance with regulations, ensuring safe flight conditions, and reporting any abnormalities. The role involves visual scanning for hazards, maintaining clear flight paths, and submitting flight logs. Required qualifications include a minimum SPM/SPVM with good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and a passion for unmanned aircraft technology in the agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct UAS work in compliance with authority regulations and standards.
• Performing unaided visual scanning of the airspace in which the UAS is operating for any potential hazard in the air.
• Ensures the flight path and area is clear of any obstacles and intrusion in the mission area.
• Practice good conduct of work according to organization’s standards (Operations Manual).
• Ensure the UAS is operated in a safe condition throughout all phases of flight.
• Report on any abnormalities when operating UAS to Team Lead or FOM for next action to be taken to prevent from posing any safety or hazard risk to human, equipment, and environment.
• Submit all operating UAS’s flight log and daily work report.
• Commit and discharge duties in compliance with the ISO 9001 and CAD 6011 (II) Agricultural UAS Operations’ requirements and standards.

About You

• Minimum SPM/ SPVM with C+ in English. Higher than minimum qualification is an added advantage.
• Good communication Bahasa Malaysia and fair command in English.
• Passionate in unmanned aircraft technology and application for agricultural sector.
