Job Description
KEY OBJECTIVES
- Manage warehousing operations efficiently, cost-effectively, and safely.
- Oversee logistics of equipment and materials in the field to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide safe, efficient, and effective inventory management and materials coordination offshore.
- Serve as the single point of contact between all offshore facility departments and the onshore supply department to facilitate the flow of materials.
- Maintain current information on the status of materials.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for daily warehousing operations.
- Manage inventory, ensuring all spares are accurately identified, cataloged, coded, tagged, stored, maintained, located, and recorded in the procurement system.
- Receive all spares and materials at offshore facilities and ensure prompt delivery to end-users.
- Document all dispatches for repair, storage, disposal, or return to suppliers/contractors.
- Supervise packaging for dispatch, including dangerous goods declarations and proper documentation.
- Administer all Material Requisitions (MRs), ensuring specifications are complete and items are properly categorized.
- Perform cyclic stock takes, reviewing condition, categorization, levels, and reorder points.
- Locate and issue spares in the field, updating the procurement system accordingly.
- Refine stock levels, identify surplus or obsolete items, and optimize inventory.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient storage environment, rationalizing inventory as needed.
- Manage hazardous materials per HSE procedures and regulations.
- Participate in planning meetings, providing inventory and materials information.
- Track rental equipment and coordinate returns.
- Maintain accurate transaction records within SAP, ensuring the inventory module is current.
- Supervise loading and unloading of cargo safely across land, sea, and air.
- Oversee preservation activities at the site.
KEY AUTHORITIES
- Automatically requisition materials to maintain stock levels.
- Manage all material transactions at offshore facilities.
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle hazardous substances safely, distributing safety data sheets as required.
- Store materials and equipment securely, adhering to safety labels and data sheets.
- Review and maintain safety stock levels for critical equipment.
- Report accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately.
- Participate in safety drills, exercises, and emergency response duties.
- Manage Permit to Work (PTW) at the warehouse.
- Review Job Safety Analyses (JSA) related to warehouse and transportation activities.
- Conduct regular safety walkabouts in the warehouse.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- Coordinate with offshore PICs, Maintenance Superintendents, and Construction personnel.
