Responsibilities
- To cook for residents and staff of 150 - 200 paxs.
- Washing, cutting, peeling, chopping and seasoning to ensure the food is ready for cooking.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards for all areas, equipment and staff.
- Monitoring stock, assisting with restocking, maintaining records.
- Basic cooking tasks, learning methods, equipment handling.
- Ensuring proper care and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Cooks the dishes under supervision and ensures they are suitable for elderly residents (soft texture, less oil, less salt, less sweet, etc.).
- Assist in preparing special diets for weak residents.
- Ensure food is cooked and served on time according to the Home schedule.
- Portion and serve food to residents according to dietary guidelines.
- Report low stock or shortages to the relevant personnel.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Superior/Management.
- Monitor ingredient prices and adjust menu costing accordingly.
- Maintain and update kitchen stock list, ensuring accurate records of incoming and outgoing items.
- Supporting the unloading of goods.
Job Requirements
- Min SPM
- Experience in F&B service is needed
- At least 2 - 4 years of cooking experience
- Salary depends on skills & experience
- Shift-based
