CM WEIGHING SDN BHD, an automation machine expert based in Johor Bahru, is seeking an Electrical & Mechanical Design Engineer / 3D/2D CAD Designer. You will prepare electrical designs and CAD drawings, collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure designs are practical and accurate.

The role emphasizes turning concepts into manufacturable drawings, maintaining organized documentation, and staying current with drafting standards.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD; experience with Inventor.
Understanding of sheet metal fabrication and tolerances.
Strong attention to detail and methodical work style.
Minimum 1 year drafting experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed electrical designs, drawings and diagrams using CAD software.
Interpret engineering specifications and requirements to produce accurate technical documentation.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure drawings meet project needs.
Maintain an organised system for storing and retrieving technical drawings and documentation.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations and best practices related to electrical drafting.
