About the role

GAN & ZUL is seeking experienced Conveyancing Legal Associates to join our dynamic legal team in Southkey, Johor Bharu. As a Conveyancing Legal Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing legal services to our clients, focusing on property transactions and related matters.

What you'll be doing

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as sale and purchase agreements, loan agreements, and other property-related contracts
• Conduct legal research and due diligence to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Provide legal advice and support to clients throughout the conveyancing process
• Liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, real estate agents, and financial institutions
• Maintain accurate records and files for efficient case management
• Stay updated with changes in property law and industry best practices

What we're looking for

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Degree in Law and be called to the Bar
• 0 to 3 years PQE
• Strong understanding of property law, including land registration, mortgages, and related regulations
• Self-motivated, meticulous, committed, and able to work independently
• Possess own transport
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Able to work as part of a team
