Job Description:
CONVEYANCING LAWYER
• Drafting SPA, bank loans, JV agreements, PA documents, Novation Agreements, Lease and Tenancy Agreements for property transactions.
• Handling company purchaser matters and SME/business/commercial bank loans.
• Attending to clients, managing correspondences, preparing status reports, and other tasks as assigned.
• Researching documents and case law to ensure accurate advice and procedures.
• Overseeing developers’ projects and conveyancing matters.
CONVEYANCING CLERK
• Assisting lawyers with conveyancing documents.
• Following up with banks, developers, government bodies, and related parties.
• Monitoring ongoing files via email and correspondence.
• Preparing forms and correspondence related to loan files.
• Managing loan files from start to finish.
• Handling matters involving developers, banks, JMB, LHDN, Majlis Perbandaran, Land Office, and banks.
• Ensuring timely completion of tasks to avoid penalties.
• Maintaining good relationships with clients, bank officers, and property agents.
• Performing administrative tasks such as data entry, document management, and correspondence.
• Updating office records and databases.
• Supporting the team with various administrative duties.
• Handling documentation for property sub-sales, bank loans, online adjudication, and other conveyancing matters.
• Managing various bank loans, refinance, transfer, charge, and discharge files.
Qualifications and Requirements:
For Conveyancing Lawyer:
• Valid Law Degree and Practicing Certificate.
• 2-3 years’ experience in sub-sale SPA, project, and loan documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Responsible, self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Good time management skills.
• Organized and systematic in handling files.
• Professional and responsive to clients.
• 1-2 years of conveyancing experience post-chambering preferred.
For Conveyancing Clerk:
• 1-2 years’ experience in conveyancing, preferably in perfection.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and familiar with e-filing systems.
• Diligent, proactive, and hardworking.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.
• Familiar with bank, land office, LHDN procedures.
• Meticulous, punctual, and able to work independently.
