We are currently looking for a dynamic third-party, contract-basis Controlling Executive to support our Controlling department in our Financial Services business.

In this role, you will be supporting the controlling department on daily business operations, being a key member in growing and driving our BMW Financial Services. The role will require the person to build reports, support key managers, and take on an active role in ensuring strict controls of our financials in the business. This role will also offer the successful candidate career pathways to transition into a permanent associate in our BMW Financial Services business depending on future opportunities and performance of the associate.

What awaits you?

• Supports the controlling department covering the entire spectrum of controlling, cash flow planning, treasury, commercial finance, budgeting and forecasting.
• Preparation of management reports covering OPEX, financials, sales, cost of sales, GPI, etc., and investigate reasons for deviations from budgets & targets, ensuring all reports are generated for meetings and reporting purposes on time and saved in the relevant folders.
• Assist the Controlling managers / Head in driving adherence to agreed budget levels, and providing feedback to the management committee for any achievements or shortfalls.
• Gather and compile data on different business line performances, conducting pre-analysis of actuals vs budgets.
• Assist the commercial finance manager to analyze errors in the commercial finance systems, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting month end processes for all dealers.
• Support the daily business processes for commercial finance, while monitoring credit utilization from the dealers and ensuring credit lines are not breached.

What should you bring along?

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• A least 3 years of experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Experience in reporting financial data, including budgets and forecast planning.
• Solid understanding of balance score cards & KPIs.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS office tools, especially excel and power point.
• Ability to think analytically, demonstrates expertise in numeracy and data.
• Ability to communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills.
