Job Description:
Responsible for the efficient and effective control of the process plant operation and production-related equipment for the assigned unit, in compliance with MODEC procedures, national and international regulations and standards, thus ensuring the unit's availability, safe operation, and achievement of production and revenue targets, contributing to business continuity and growth.

Core Responsibilities
- Control and operate process plant and production-related equipment via FCS and control panels, under the supervision of the Production Supervisor and with support from Operators, including routines, monitoring, control, optimization, sampling, chemical analyses, start/stop, isolations, commissioning, decommissioning, and operational maneuvers to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assist in the unit's annual budget planning by providing resource, replacement, service, material, and expense information in coordination with Supervisors and Technicians.
- Participate in emergency response activities, including training and simulations, adhering to MODEC procedures and regulations.
- Support offshore and onshore leadership in liaising with clients, authorities, and stakeholders by providing accurate operational information upon request.
- Contribute to the implementation of the Permit to Work system, acting as a Permit user as per procedures.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analyses, investigations, HAZID/HAZOP, and sharing lessons learned to enhance fleet performance.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, participating in audits and inspections, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Properly utilize Technical Support departments by recording and directing technical queries appropriately.
- Contribute to procedural improvements and share operational lessons learned.
- Assist in preparing daily and periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate emergency and safety system statuses promptly to the Production Supervisor and coordinate vendor assistance as needed.
- Support operational performance by managing controller overrides and documenting all occurrences.
- Assume Production Supervisor responsibilities when designated, adhering to all relevant procedures and training.
- Support the quality of production activities by providing guidance to crew and vendors.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and shutdowns, understanding PSD, ESD, and C&E diagrams.

Job Challenges and Problem Solving
- Monitor production indicators and guide operators during field maneuvers, requiring high attention to detail.
- Work in shifts due to continuous operations, including shift rotations during offshore periods.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in offshore/onshore oil & gas sectors.
- Experience as a Production Operator in F(P)SO units is required.
- Experience in Production Control Rooms is required.
- Knowledge of hydrocarbon processing and utility systems is expected.
