Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Engineer with day-to-day activities.
• Provide service and plan routine activities.

Job description

Responsibilities

The Plant Technician will assist the Plant Engineer with day-to-day activities and complete assigned tasks, including:

1. Providing service and planning routine activities to meet target service levels.
2. Carrying out servicing, checking, repairing, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and installation of equipment at customer sites.
3. Briefing customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment after successful commissioning.
4. Attending to customer calls and providing technical assistance either onsite or via phone.
5. Attending service sites punctually as instructed by the manager or supervisor.
6. Performing other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess at least SPM or Sijil qualification.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
• Willing to work shifts.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good reporting and writing skills are an advantage.
• Independent, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to learn and meticulous.
• Location: Pasir Gudang/Tampoi, Johor.
