Position Overview

We are seeking a Contract & QS Executive to join our growing flooring operations team in Kajang. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to gain hands-on experience in contract management, project costing, and documentation within the construction and flooring sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract & QS (Core)
  • Prepare quotations, BOQs, and tender submissions.
  • Assist in progress claims, variation orders (VOs), and final accounts.
  • Liaise with main contractors and consultants for claim clarifications.
  • Support subcontractor agreements and claims verification.
  • Participate in tender clarification and consultant QS meetings with management.
• Specification & Technical Support
  • Review tender specifications and highlight compliance issues.
  • Prepare technical datasheets, compliance summaries, and samples.
  • Assist with method statements and other technical document submissions.
• Cost & Material Tracking
  • Update project P&L trackers (budget vs actual).
  • Monitor material usage and assist in invoice verification.
  • Prepare simple cost summaries and reports.
• Contract Value & Reporting
  • Track quotations versus awarded projects.
  • Maintain records of secured contracts, VO values, and invoicing.
  • Prepare concise monthly summaries for management review.
• Operations Support (Light)
  • Track Delivery Orders (DOs), site progress, and installer allocation.
  • Assist in report preparation and ISO documentation.
  • Coordinate with sales, store, and site teams for smooth workflow.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Business Administration.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Willing to learn project operations and documentation processes.
