CONTRACT MANAGER / SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Overview
Contract Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor responsible for quantity measurement and pricing for new tender projects, coordinating subcontractor and supplier quotations, and ensuring financial and contractual integrity across projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage quantity measurement for new tender projects.
- Prepare budgeting and costing for all projects and perform quantity checking.
- Prepare pricing for tenders and obtain subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Plan and coordinate selection of potential subcontractors for new projects.
- Value progress claims and subcontractor claims.
- Check discrepancies between Architect drawings and Structural drawings.
- Verify that structures or buildings comply with client specifications.
- Attend employer and consultant meetings, and main contractor site meetings regarding work progress and site issues.
- Perform any other job function assigned by the head of department.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the construction industry.
- Required Skill: AUTOCAD
- Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Proficiency in local tendering of highrise and factory project experience is strongly encouraged to apply.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in managing multiple projects within tight timelines.
- Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
