CONTRACT MANAGER / SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Overview

Contract Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor responsible for quantity measurement and pricing for new tender projects, coordinating subcontractor and supplier quotations, and ensuring financial and contractual integrity across projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage quantity measurement for new tender projects.
• Prepare budgeting and costing for all projects and perform quantity checking.
• Prepare pricing for tenders and obtain subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Plan and coordinate selection of potential subcontractors for new projects.
• Value progress claims and subcontractor claims.
• Check discrepancies between Architect drawings and Structural drawings.
• Verify that structures or buildings comply with client specifications.
• Attend employer and consultant meetings, and main contractor site meetings regarding work progress and site issues.
• Perform any other job function assigned by the head of department.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the construction industry.
• Required Skill: AUTOCAD
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Proficiency in local tendering of highrise and factory project experience is strongly encouraged to apply.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in managing multiple projects within tight timelines.
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
