A growing construction firm in Selangor is seeking a Contract Manager/Assistant Contract Manager to lead a team in precast construction. Responsibilities include quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and negotiating client certifications. Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and possess strong leadership and communication skills. A diploma in Quantity Surveying or related fields is required.

We are a young energetic company providing specialist precast construction work for both infrastructure and building projects. Our core expertise is in the design and build solution for precast construction work.

In line with our continuous growth and our current business expansion, we are seeking suitable candidates to work together with our highly experience team. Currently, we have vacancy for Contract Manager / Assistant Contract Manager position to be based at our head office at Bandar Puteri, Puchong.

TO LEAD A TEAM TO CARRY OUT THE FOLLOWING TASK :

Involve in taking off quantities, calling tenders/quotations, prepare cost estimate and evaluation of tenders/quotations for recommendation of award.

Process consultants/sub-contractors claims and supplier’s invoices.

Prepare, submit progress claim, follow thru, negotiate and obtain certification from client.

Evaluate variation orders and prepare, negotiate, follow thru and obtain final account.

Budgeting and cost control works.

Occasional/Supporting task in leading team to taking off quantities for tendering work, getting quotation and pricing, prepare price built up rate, and inking and compilation of tender document

Occasional/Supporting task in filing tender documents and drawings and also archiving works.

To liaise with all parties to complete the required work

Requirements:

Possesses good leadership and communication skills.

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Quantity Surveying/Building/Civil Engineering.

min 10 years working experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Good written and verbal communication in English and computer literacy is essential.

Candidates must be self motivated, resourceful and possesses high passion for details.

Experience in Precast Construction Works shall be an added advantage.
