About the Company

Our client is an established and reputable main contractor specializing in large-scale industrial and mission-critical projects, including data centres, semiconductor facilities, and high-tech buildings. With a strong project pipeline and commitment to excellence, they are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead the commercial and contractual management of their ongoing Data Centre project in Selangor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all pre- and post-contract activities for the Data Centre project.
• Oversee contract administration, procurement strategies, and subcontract management.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and cash flow to ensure commercial efficiency.
• Evaluate and negotiate contract terms, variations, and claims with clients and subcontractors.
• Prepare progress claims, final accounts, and ensure timely certification.
• Coordinate with project managers, QS teams, and site teams to align contractual and commercial objectives.
• Provide contractual advice and risk assessment to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contract terms, and statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in contract and commercial management.
• Proven track record working with main contractors on large-scale Data Centre or Industrial Building projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, tender procedures, and construction contracts (PAM, FIDIC, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and lead a commercial team effectively.
