Job Title: Customer Success Executive (Contract Management)
Department: Operations

Role Overview:

The Customer Success Executive in the Operations Team plays a hybrid role within the operations department, acting as the primary liaison between the company and its clients. The role combines elements of account management, client servicing, and operational coordination, requiring a proactive and relationship-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and responsiveness.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client communications, handling inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide after-sales support and act as a problem-solver to meet client expectations and requirements.

Account Handling & Operational Coordination

  • Manage client accounts throughout the entire lifecycle: onboarding/registration, contract execution, service coordination, and ongoing support.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation, review, and execution of contracts and other client documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., logistics, finance, legal) to ensure operational alignment and seamless service delivery.

Sales & Business Development

  • Actively seek out and pursue sales opportunities, including handling inbound leads and conducting outbound sales activities to acquire new clients.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Participate in negotiations and secure contract renewals or expansion of services as appropriate.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify strategic business opportunities.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the broader team to support decision-making and strategy refinement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the trading, logistics, or commodities sector.
  • Strong familiarity with commercial contracts and the contract execution process.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
