Assist with the application of Watlow Way tools to identify and remove waste and sources of variation in production, implementing standard work and improvement opportunities.

Services:
Assists in preparing charts, graphs, spaghetti diagrams, floor layouts, standard work documentation tooling, and value stream maps to illustrate workflow.
Creates A3s, completes 7-week checklists, reviews Kanban information, and assists in performing time observations to identify waste and/or setup reduction opportunities using stopwatch, video camera, digital camera, and/or similar equipment.
Assists more seasoned facilitators conducting RIEs and other improvement initiatives.
Delivery:
Under guidance, participate or lead focused teams aimed primarily at site-level process improvements.
Engage in problem-solving activities including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Participate in daily Gemba walks and activities.
Assist in training others on improvement tools and techniques.
Recommends revisions of methods of operation or material handling, alterations in equipment layout, product design, or other changes to improve flow, productivity, or standards by incorporating 6S, visual management, and standard work.
Constantly monitor workplace hazards and ensure actions lead to safe operations practices.
Conduct regular 6S audits and provide feedback for improvement.
Implement and optimize one-piece flow processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Business Partner:
Collaborate with production personnel and engineers to implement improvement changes.

Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements:
Technical certificate and related experience (minimum 2 years of working experience).
