Qualifications

Job Responsibilities
- Lead Value Creation Initiatives for selected operations consisting of several factories, with regular follow-through on realized vs planned project.
- Engage manufacturing stakeholders (Factory Manager, Production/ Quality/ Maintenance/ Logistics PIC) to identify tangible cost saving opportunities, quantify potential cost impact, deep-dive for potential root causes, and recommend key actions; thereafter get buy-in from factory managers to set-up team to reap the cost saving benefits.
- Deploy Lean tools as showcase to drive operational improvements e.g., Root Cause Analysis through 7QC Tools, leading/facilitating Kaizen through PDCA cycle, optimize Planned Downtime through Time Motion Study and SMED.
- Conduct training, facilitate workshops, and lead projects to add value to the business while guiding team members in deploying Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Establish standards for Manufacturing Performance Management System with a data-driven basis.
- Communicate improvement ideas and techniques to other members of Manufacturing Operations.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Manufacturing and process optimization.
- Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other related field (Science).
- At least five years’ working experience within manufacturing, preferably in Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering, or Production/ Operations roles.
- Hands-on shopfloor improvements using Lean or Six Sigma methodology, with strength in Time-Motion Analysis, Problem Solving, Kaizen Facilitation, and DMAIC Project Management.
- Lean / Six Sigma/ Project Management certification and/or track record in Automation and/or Digitalization are strong advantages.
- Working experience in Food/ FMCG/ Pharmaceutical/ Chemical Processing industries is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse organizational levels.
- Analytical mindset, strong in data-driven analytics.
- Demonstrated hands-on leadership approach to lead shopfloor problem solving.
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt by American Society of Quality and/or Professional Project Manager (PMP) by Project Management Institute is an added advantage.
