Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process Improvement and Waste Reduction.

  • Identify continuous process improvement and waste reduction opportunities across Kossan Glove Division, through lean manufacturing philosophies, such as value stream mapping, process mapping, FMEA, etc.
  • Develop and drive process improvement and waste reduction initiatives to continuous optimize manufacturing efficiency and cost, Improvement includes process flow and material flow reengineering, automation and digitization introduction, etc.
  • Collaborate with site CI team to implement the improvement initiatives at plants.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with new or changed processes in the in-charged process improvement project and ensure that appropriate controls are in place.
  • Through the site CI communities, encourage the sharing of Best Practices.

Headcount Optimization

  • Identify headcount optimization opportunities across Kossan Glove Division by applying lean manufacturing philosophies.
  • Continuous drive headcount optimization project to achieve headcount efficiency target.
  • Assist plant management and site CI team to clarify headcount roles and responsibilities, cycle time standard, headcount requirement standard and target efficiency.
  • Document the standard for plant management as reference in headcount planning.

Operational Audit

  • Perform audit to plant operation to identify current operation variance and underlying constraints impeding control system implementation and compliances. It is not limited to system audit and quality management audit.
  • Generate the audit report with summary of improvement needed for plant management team to rectify and improve.
  • Follow up the closure of the audit observations.
  • Develop audit standard and checklist for plant self-sustaining and readiness for audit.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years experiences in manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in managing continuous improvement or process improvement projects.
  • Experience in conducting audit, value stream mapping or process mapping.
  • LEAN certification is desirable.
