Job summary

BJAK is seeking a highly creative Content Writer to shape stories for our website and landing pages, boosting SEO and engagement. You will craft articles, blogs, newsletters, and educational content that align with our brand voice.

This full-time role, open to freelancers, is based in Malaysia with a hybrid setup requiring 3 days in our Malaysia office. You will collaborate with Product, Marketing, Design, and Legal to produce impactful content.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in content creation, storytelling, copywriting, or related creative roles.
• Strong storytelling ability across websites, landing pages, and blogs.
• Understanding of digital platforms, audience behavior, and content trends.
• Ability to develop ideas and shape them into clear, engaging narratives.
• Excellent command of both English and Malay.
• A portfolio showcasing creative content work.

Responsibilities

• Craft compelling articles, blogs, newsletters, website content, and educational resources across sites and product touchpoints.
• Translate technical or regulatory topics into clear, engaging content.
• Analyse content performance and optimise strategy based on traffic and engagement.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Design, Legal, and Business teams to develop accurate content.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions, campaigns, and brand storytelling initiatives.
• Ensure storytelling remains cohesive, authentic, and aligned with BJAK’s voice.

The Role

This is a full-time opportunity but is open to freelancers as well.

Location

This role is based in Malaysia. This is a hybrid role. You are expected to work from our Malaysia office at least 3 days per week.
