Job description

As a Content Review Associate on the world's most loved video-sharing website, you will provide dynamic service and support related to productivity and compliance requirements of our clients. Dedicated to quality, you will use your problem-solving skills to continuously deliver value. Projects will allow you to develop as a decision-maker on global issues such as social values, free speech, and health and safety.

Key areas include social media regulation, online free speech, internal controls, support for vulnerable communities, EU policy making, business process efficiency, project management, and quality improvement.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  1. Understanding and staying updated with client's policies and guidelines
  2. Reviewing user reports regarding website content
  3. Analyzing content for compliance and flagging non-compliant material
  4. Serving as an advocate for the user community and resolving issues
  5. Reviewing content within standard turnaround times and quality standards
  6. Recognizing trends and escalating issues outside policy
  7. Meeting productivity and quality requirements
  8. Responding to user inquiries with speed, empathy, and accuracy
  9. Utilizing data to improve user experience
  10. Using market knowledge to develop scalable support solutions
  11. Identifying workflow inefficiencies and suggesting improvements
  12. Reviewing sensitive content involving graphic or disturbing material

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of relevant professional experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Fluency in English

Basic skills include proficiency with Google products and Japanese language skills with cultural understanding.

Preferred skills include experience with confidential data and BPO environments. Professional skills emphasize decision-making, communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for social media and a neutral stance on diverse video content are also important.
