Job summary

Systech Bhd is seeking a creative and energetic Content Creator & Video Editor to join our team in Malaysia. You will produce engaging content for multiple social platforms, record on-site footage as needed, and edit videos to a high standard.

You will develop ideas, scripts, and captions, manage postings, and analyze performance to inform improvements. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and a diploma/degree in marketing or related fields is required.

• 1–3 years of experience in content creation, video production, or social media management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and produce engaging content for social media platforms including TikTok, XiaoHongShu (XHS), Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Record videos, interviews, events, and promotional content using mobile devices and cameras.
• Edit videos, reels, shorts, and other multimedia content to ensure high-quality output.
• Develop creative content ideas, storyboards, scripts, and captions.
• Manage and schedule content postings across social media platforms.
• Monitor content performance and recommend improvements based on analytics and trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create content that supports marketing campaigns, employer branding, products, and corporate events.
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Digital Media, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in content creation, video production, or social media management.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and current digital trends.
• Creative mindset with excellent storytelling and communication skills.
• Comfortable appearing in videos and conducting on-site video recordings when required.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) to create content and engage with Mandarin-speaking audiences and content creators.
