Job summary

Places Malaysia is seeking an internship Content Creator. You will create and curate content for social media, including taking photos and videos. This hybrid role involves shooting at events and meeting the team once a week at Petaling Jaya.

You will explore Malaysia's places, travel to shoots, and share experiences with our audience. Ideal candidates have strong storytelling, camera skills, and a passion for discovering places in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Strong visual storytelling with photography and videography.

• Based in Klang Valley and able to travel with own transport.
• Experience with copywriting and media production/editing is a plus.

Role Description

This is an internship role as a Content Creator at Places Malaysia. You will be responsible for creating and curiating content for our social media platforms, including taking photos and videos. You will have the opportunity to explore and discover new places in Malaysia and share your experiences with our audience. This is a hybrid role, where most of your time will be spent going around for events and shoots and meeting with the team once a week at Petaling Jaya.

Qualifications

• Strong visual storytelling skills, including photography and videography
• Knowledge of social media platforms and trends

• Passion for exploring and discovering new places in Malaysia
• Must be based in the Klang Valley area
• Have your own transport and be able to drive around the Klang Valley area
• Experience with copywriting, photo and video production/ editing (especially mobile content - Instagram & TikTok) will be a plus
