With a growing presence in Malaysia’s vibrant F&B scene, Papayun Kitchen aims to expand its footprint through strategic partnerships, creative content, and a strong digital presence. Now, we are seeking a Content Creator cum Video Editor to join us!
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage content calendars to support marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal promotions in the food and beverage sector.
Plan, script, shoot, and edit engaging video content such as recipe demonstrations, product features, behind-the-scenes footage, and brand storytelling.
Edit video content using professional software (e.g., Capcut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), incorporating graphics, sound, and effects to produce high-quality, on-brand visuals.
Create short-form video content optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook to drive engagement and audience growth.
Collaborate with chefs, baristas, and internal teams to capture compelling content that reflects the brand’s voice and culinary expertise.
Monitor content performance and engagement metrics, using data to optimize future content strategies and improve audience interaction.
Manage and organize digital media assets, ensuring efficient access to raw footage, edited files, and reusable content elements.
Requirements/qualification:
Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Production, or a related field.
Proven experience (1-2+ years) in content creation, content planning, or digital marketing, preferably within the food and beverage, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors.
Strong understanding of content strategy and planning.
Proficiency in video production and editing tools (e.g., Capcut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software).
Creative storytelling skills with a portfolio showcasing engaging video, photo, or social media content - especially related to food, drink, or culinary themes.
Familiarity with social media platforms and trends, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging formats.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working closely with culinary teams, marketing departments, and external vendors or influencers.
Basic knowledge of analytics and content performance tools, such as Meta Insights, Google Analytics, or TikTok Analytics, to inform content strategy.
