Job description

1. Research on current trend content ideas align with company identity (photos and videos).

2. Collaborate with the Fashion Department in content creation, including post-production that includes soft-selling and hard-selling content.

3. Develop and propose original content ideas based on target audience interests, industry trends, and marketing goals. This can involve photoshoots, recording content, taking footage or designing visuals.

4. Writes, reviews, edits, and updates content either on the company website or social media.

5. Publish and distribute content across appropriate channels, company websites, social media platforms, and email newsletters.

6. Monitor audience engagement metrics and respond to audience feedback and inquiries in engaging with followers and fostering a sense of community around the brand.

7. Maintain a content calendar to plan and organize content creation and distribution schedules. Ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with marketing campaigns and events.

8. Staying on top of the current trends.

9. Propose ideas with the Creative team for the design of promotional material.

10. Work closely with other team members such as designers, marketers, and subject matter experts to brainstorm ideas, gather feedback, and ensure content meets objectives and standards.

11. Create rough and final cuts videos (short and long formats) including audio editing and mixing and ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidates must possess a Professional Certificate/ Diploma/ Bachelors Degree in a related field;

2. Having at least 1 year of experience in marketing, communications or a related field is a plus;

3. Good command (both spoken and written) in Malay and English;

4. Good writing, editing (photo/video/text/graphic) and sharp presentation skills; proficiency in Canva editing is considered an additional asset.

5. Excellent understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok is a must;

6. Creative mindset to generate engaging content ideas.
