Job description

A groundbreaking company creating innovative products is seeking an exceptional supply chain professional. The Commodity Management team within Materials and Procurement develops and implements plans to support forecasted needs for suppliers and commodities. We leverage our deep understanding of domestic and international markets to negotiate supplier agreements with optimal pricing and terms. Additionally, we utilize our knowledge of commodity qualities, transportation options, risk management, and supply chain evaluation models to develop effective commodity management strategies.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead cross-functional teams to drive commodity metrics, strategies, and goals; conduct risk analysis; and recommend mitigation strategies.
2. Develop and secure business approval for complex RFQs, providing supply chain optimization recommendations.
3. Resolve issues within the supply chain by negotiating product costs and contracts, and identifying cost savings.
4. Identify, monitor, and support the integration of new technology with suppliers.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and establish new relationships to meet supply chain needs.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

• Knowledge of advanced materials requirements, capacity planning, and supplier management.
• Strong negotiation, contract development, and analytical skills.
• Experience in supplier evaluation, pricing, and cost analysis.
• Proven ability in market research, trend analysis, and strategic planning.

Desirable Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
