Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Safety Officer to assist the Safety Health Officer in establishing and maintaining HSE compliance on projects in Malaysia. You will familiarize with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards and help conduct on-site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices.

The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in Safety, with at least 2 years in construction safety, good computer skills, and the ability to work independently. Yellow Book certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Safety is required.
• Computer literate with good communication and ability to work independently.
• At least 2 years of safety experience in construction industry.
• Yellow Book certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Safety Health Officer (SHO) in setting up and ensuring compliance of all HSE issues per local authorities and requirements.
• Assist SHO to conduct safety audits and on-site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
• Support other duties as assigned by the Company.
