Job summary

Logikontrol Sdn Bhd is seeking a Safety & Health Officer (SHO) to implement and monitor OSH policies at our Seremban construction sites. You will ensure compliance with the OSH Act, regulations and DOSH/JKKP requirements across the project.

Key duties include conducting site inspections, risk assessments, safety briefings and accident investigations, while coordinating with DOSH and clients to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Registered SHO with DOSH/JKKP and a valid Green Book.
• At least 2 years' experience in construction safety.
• Solid understanding of health & safety legislation and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Monitor compliance of workers, subcontractors and site personnel with safety requirements.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, inductions and training.
• Investigate accidents and near misses and prepare reports.
• Monitor implementation of HIRARC, method statements and safe work procedures.
• Maintain safety records, permits and documentation.
• Liaise with DOSH/JKKP, consultants, clients and subcontractors on safety matters.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to site safety rules.
• Participate in site meetings and report safety performance.
