Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a site supervisor to oversee residential and commercial construction works, ensuring compliance with contracts, drawings, quality and schedule. You will report to the project manager on discrepancies and progress.

You will verify materials against approved specs, coordinate with consultants and authorities, keep records, prepare progress reports, attend site meetings, and liaise with contractors for defect rectification during the defect liability period.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor construction works (residential/commercial) per contracts and drawings, focusing on specs, quality and time of completion.
• Ensure all materials delivered to site conform to approved specifications and the project's inspection test plan.
• Identify remedial/outstanding works and ensure contractors complete them within contractual time.
• Regularly report progress and issues to supervisor, and monitor variation orders for architectural items with substantiation to PM/QS.
• Assist in verifying SPA plans and specifications against approved BP, drawings and contract specs before sales launches.
