Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Registered SHO / Green Book holder with DOSH.
• Minimum 5 years of safety and health experience in construction.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and hazard identification.
• Experience in inspections, audits, investigations, and training.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with project teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Proficient in preparing safety reports and maintaining records.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSH regulations including the SHO Regulations.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and improvements.
• Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Investigate accidents and near misses to identify causes and actions.
• Provide guidance to management and staff on safety issues.
• Conduct risk assessments and contribute to emergency planning.
• Coordinate safety training programs to boost awareness and competence.
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents, training, and compliance.
• Interface with regulators, inspectors, and auditors during inspections.
• Stay current with safety regulations and industry trends.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Superior/Management.
• Ensure adequacy and effectiveness of the quality system.
• Jointly ensure corrective actions from management reviews are processed promptly.
