About the role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Executive to join our dynamic team at LSH Global Enterprise Sdn Bhd. As a Purchasing Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of high-quality materials and supplies to support our manufacturing and logistics operations in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This is a full-time position with excellent growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Source and evaluate suppliers of construction materials, tools, and site equipment

Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize project cost and efficiency

Issue and monitor purchase orders for timely delivery to construction sites

Maintain accurate records of stock levels, delivery timelines, and supplier performance

Coordinate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and logistics teams to forecast and prioritize procurement needs

Address and resolve delivery issues, defects, or material shortages promptly to avoid project delays

Identify opportunities for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, or alternative sourcing

Ensure compliance with company procedures and construction site requirements

Perform any other procurement-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing/procurement role, preferably in the construction industry

Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor networks, and site logistics

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to handle purchasing-related issues

Proficient in using procurement software

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under tight deadlines

Able to work closely with cross-functional teams and site personnel

Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin, and Hokkien to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Hokkien-speaking clients.
