Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of civil and infrastructure projects across Malaysia, including assignments in Perak, Pahang, Kelantan, and Terengganu. The role requires strong leadership, client management, and contract administration skills, with proven experience managing projects under JKR (Jabatan Kerja Raya) and JPS (Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran). The Project Manager will ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with government regulations and quality standards.

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of civil and infrastructure projects across Malaysia, including assignments in Perak, Pahang, Kelantan, and Terengganu. The role requires strong leadership, client management, and contract administration skills, with proven experience managing projects under JKR (Jabatan Kerja Raya) and JPS (Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran). The Project Manager will ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with government regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, government authorities, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Manage project progress, monitor milestones, and prepare regular project reports for management and clients.
• Administer contracts, monitor claims, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Oversee procurement, resource allocation, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations and CIDB requirements.
• Anticipate and resolve project risks, technical issues, and delays effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices in project management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in managing large-scale civil/infrastructure projects.
• Strong track record with JKR and JPS projects (mandatory).
• Solid knowledge of contract administration (PWD 203A, FIDIC, or equivalent).
• Familiar with CIDB regulations, Malaysian Standards, and government tendering processes.
• Willing to be stationed at project sites in Perak, Pahang, Kelantan, Terengganu, or other locations.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office.
• Valid CIDB Green/Yellow Card; PMP/PRINCE2 certification is an added advantage.
