Job description

Kean Choon Construction Hiring! Full Time Construction Project Manager in Pulau Pinang, Earn up to MYR 10,000 - Ricebowl
  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Building Construction, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in construction, especially in high-rise buildings and factories, would be an added advantage.
  • Extensive knowledge of and competence in Malaysian Construction Management activities.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in feasibility studies, project planning, tendering process, contract administration, construction methodology, and authority liaison.
  • Familiarity with architectural, civil/structural, mechanical & electrical drawings, specifications, building by-laws, and requirements.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
  • Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English; Mandarin and local dialects would be an added advantage.
  • Lead and manage the project team to complete assigned projects on time, within budget, and in line with safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors; attend site meetings.
  • Prepare and submit tender documents and proposals.
  • Prepare reports and documentation on project progress.
  • Prepare Bill of Quantities (BQ)/quotations.
  • Manage project costing and budget control.
  • Analyze and resolve project issues such as cost implications, emergencies, or delays.
  • Ensure defects and complaints during handover and defect liability period are properly handled and controlled.
