We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hunan Construction Investment Group Malaysia SDN BHD. As a Construction Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction projects in Kuantan, Pahang. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects within the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, designers, and subcontractors, to coordinate project activities and resolve issues.
3. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and challenges as they arise.
4. Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
5. Manage and oversee the work of construction crews, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency.
6. Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing their concerns.
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our construction processes and practices.

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience as a Construction Project Engineer, preferably in the construction industry, including site supervision and project quantity estimation.
3. Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
4. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex projects.
5. Proficient in using project management software and tools.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
7. Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
