Job summary

AMLI MOUNTAN (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an accounting professional to handle the full set of accounts and monthly financial reporting in Malaysia.

The role involves monitoring project budgets, development costs, expenses and cash flow, and processing contractor and supplier invoices with proper supporting documents. You will prepare payment vouchers, monitor bank transactions, and liaise with auditors, tax agents and banks.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience in property development/construction accounting is an advantage
• Able to handle full set accounts independently
• Good knowledge of Excel and accounting software
• Responsible, organised and able to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and monthly financial reporting
• Monitor project budgets, development costs, expenses and cash flow
• Check and process contractor, consultant and supplier invoices/progress claims
• Prepare payment vouchers and ensure proper supporting documents and approvals
• Monitor bank transactions, project financing, collections and outstanding payments
• Prepare budget vs. actual cost reports and highlight cost overruns
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and company secretary
• Maintain proper filing and accurate accounting records for each development project
• Work closely with the Development, Project and Management teams on project financial matters
• Perform any other accounting and finance duties assigned by Management
