Job summary

A construction company in Kedah is seeking a qualified professional to lead project management and quality assurance in interior design fit-outs. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in the industry. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Liaise with a subcontractor for sample approval
  • Lead the QAQC team for the inspection status
  • Maintain and update SOW and preconstruction documents and meet contract obligation
  • Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies and other project disruptions
  • Advice on non conformance
  • Performance Management: Execute all tasks given and responsible for work performance
  • Prepare and submit performance management reports to Project Manager
  • Identify areas of improvement based on the performance management report
  • Quality Management System: Implement company policy and departmental standard operating procedures
  • Implement improvement in Commercial and project department
  • Support other internal customers in operations to ensure products and services meet customer and other interested parties’ requirements
  • Proper document and record keeping in project department
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering, architectural or related field
  • Experience: Min of 5 years of experience in ID fit out - built in furniture, wall paneling, partition works and etc.
  • Prior experience in hotels, apartments or condominiums will be considered an added advantage
  • Knowledge of construction methods and technologies and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for quality
